THE GUIDE

Fasting Together

We’re diving into the 21-day period of prayer and fasting. This tradition has been ongoing for years, beginning January 7th and ending January 28th. The focus of fasting is setting aside physical needs to prioritize spiritual nourishment. It’s a deliberate act of focusing on spiritual elements by abstaining from certain things; for instance, the Daniel Fast, which excludes meat, sweets, and bread, or other variations such as abstaining from caffeine. The key here is to replace these exclusions with prayer and devoted time to God.

To guide you each day, there’s a comprehensive prayer list available below and also on the app. To access it, simply click on “21-day prayer and fasting” on the app’s home screen.
You can also download the Prayer Card and print it off at home. This list is structured day by day, and the idea is to repeat it three times, collectively focusing on specific prayers and corresponding scriptures.

The aim is for all of us to unite in praying these scriptures together, staying on track with the schedule provided. While it might be tempting to read ahead, I encourage staying in sync with the allocated prayers for each day. Let the Holy Spirit guide your reflections and additional prayers based on these scriptures, aligning them with God’s promises and truths in your life.

Each day holds a unique prayer theme.

Sunday centers on the Lord’s Prayer.
Monday focuses on the Priestly blessing found in Numbers 6 and Chronicles.
Tuesday emphasizes prayer for protection, where we’ll personalize Psalms 91.
Wednesday involves praying for wisdom, delving into James 1 and Ephesians 1:17-20.
Thursday encompasses putting on the whole armor of God.
Friday revolves around themes of surrender and humility.
Saturday concentrates on success and bearing fruit, drawing inspiration from John 15:5.

The core objective remains consistent—to pray these scriptures over our lives and our wider community.

Following each prayer time, we encouraged to journal your reflections. These entries can be saved on the app and shared effortlessly.

Join us as a collective body, committed to seeking God’s will together for the duration of these 21 days.

Scripture For Each Day

1

SUNDAY - The Lords Prayer

Matthew 6:9-13 (NKJV) “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.”

2

MONDAY - Prayer of Blessing

Numbers 6:24-26 (NKJV) “The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; 26 The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”

1 Chronicles 4:10 (NKJV) “And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.”

Psalm 84:11 (NKJV) “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.”

Psalm 65:11 (NKJV) “You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.”

TUESDAY - Prayer of Protection

Psalm 91:1-16 (NKJV)
“1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

4

WEDNESDAY - Prayer of Wisdom

James 1:5 (NKJV) “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

Ephesians 1:17-20 (NKJV) “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.”

Isaiah 26:3 (ESV) “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”

Romans 12:2 (NKJV) “2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

5

THURSDAY - Prayer For Battle and Standing In Faith

Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV) “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.”

Ephesians 6:10-18 (NIV) “10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”

6

FRIDAY - Prayer of Surrender

Psalm 51:10-12 (NKJV) “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.”

1 John 1:6-9 (NKJV) “5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Galatians 6:7-10 (NKJV) “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

7

SATURDAY - Prayer of Success

John 15:5-8, 16-17 (NKJV) “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”

“16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another.”

Proverbs 22:29 (NKJV) “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.”

Deuteronomy 8:18 (NKJV) “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

Joshua 1:8 (NKJV) “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[a] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
