Our Vision

Love God. Love People. Serve our World.

Our vision is to see culture in Denver formed by spiritual transformation and guided by the Holy Spirit into a unity of faith in God's grace. At Legacy, we call on our community to love God and to love others, so that we can better best serve our world.

We welcome you to come discover an honest community, dedicated to discipleship, action, and advancing the Kingdom of God, through our God-given gifts, to our fellow members, Denver, and our World beyond.

Beliefs

Father:

God is all powerful and knowing. He is ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.

Son:

Jesus Christ, conceived of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit, and is the only begotten son of The Holy Father. Jesus is completely human, but at the same time, completely God. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have new life.

Holy Spirit:

Guiding believers into all truth and exalting Christ. The Holy Spirit comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

Trinity:

God exists as one, yet revealed in three persons: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Bible:

God’s Word to all people. The Bible is truth, without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives.

Man:

Made in the image of God, man is the supreme object of His creation. Every Human is uniquely created, possesses dignity, and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Salvation:

The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift from God, which cannot be earned through our own efforts.

Eternity:

Man was created to exist forever, and will either be eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. Heaven and Hell are both places of eternal existence.

Church:

A local community of believers unified by faith in Jesus Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ, obeying all of His commands, and brings the gospel to the world. The Church works in love and unity, intent on glorifying Christ.
